100 smart #1 EVs reach customers within one month

KUALA LUMPUR: As reported earlier, the first electric car from the German EV brand Smart, the #1, has been attracting significant attention in Malaysia. The EV grabbed more than 1000 bookings within almost three weeks of its launch. Now, the automaker proudly reveals that 100 units of the EV have been successfully delivered to customers within the timeframe of one month. 

Smart Malaysia attributes this success to the smooth teamwork of its 10 strategically placed smart outlets. This collaboration made sure that most customers got their cars in just a month. This achievement highlights the brand’s commitment to providing the joy of driving a Smart #1 to customers by offering a comprehensive one-stop mobility solution, says the automaker.

The brand's dedicated sales specialists streamline car delivery, ensuring a hassle-free experience from selection to ownership, while the end-to-end digital app expedites the purchase journey. Furthermore, maintaining ample stocks before the official launch has helped it offer prompt delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.

"As we deliver 100 smart #1 EVs in record time, we are thrilled to see our cars resonating with a segment of buyers who prioritize style and individuality. The smart #1 is offered in three variants in Malaysia viz. Pro, Premium, and Brabus, priced between RM 189,000 and RM 249,000. Included in the price is an 8-year/200,000 km battery warranty, an 8-year/150,000 km high-voltage component warranty, a 4-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, and a 2-year unlimited mileage spare parts warranty. 

Smart Malaysia has also rolled out an exclusive promotional offer for early bird owners. The promo offers a complimentary smartCharge Home Charger worth RM 3,200 with a two-year warranty. Further sweetening the deal is a complimentary accessory pack worth RM 2,000, and a five-year/60 GB internet data package.
