It was two months back that Honda Malaysia launched the all-new 2022 HR-V in the local market. The car was a hit from the very beginning with demand for reaching the sky with more than 20k bookings and 12 month long waiting period. And it was only recently that the automaker delivered the first unit of the car.

    The HR-V sure is a people’s car, however, that doesn’t mean it has to be boring, especially the range-topping RS version. For instance, at the front, the car showcases stunning chrome with a distinctive red pulse line running along the lower grille with LED fog lights.     The range-topping RS version is powered by an exclusive e:HEV hybrid powertrain. The setup includes a 1,498cc 4-cylinder, 16 valves, DOHC i-VTEC engine and an i-MMD electric motor. While the former makes 107 PS at 6,000-6,400 rpm and 131 Nm at 4,500-5,000 rpm. The electric motor, on the other hand, makes 131 PS along with 253 Nm of torque. The drive is sent to the wheels via an electric continuously variable transmission.
