2022 Mitsubishi Xpander facelift first official image revealed

KUALA LUMPUR: Mitsubishi Motors Corp (MMC) has released the very first image of the 2022 Xpander facelift in Japan.

The said image was revealed by the automaker during its second-quarter financial results with a ‘coming soon’ tag.

As for the Mitsubishi Motors Corp financial results, the company has witnessed a great recovery in the ASEAN region with Indonesia experiencing the biggest growth from 2020 to 2021. With increasing sales and its market share going from 8 percent to 12.6 percent, Mitsubishi has a great future ahead.

One of the biggest contributors to the company’s growth is the Xpander and it was also bestowed with the best selling car title in May 2021.

The upcoming 2022 Xpander facelift that is being teased by the company brings along a significantly revised front design with new LED headlights housed in a T-shaped casing.

Furthermore, the turn signals are housed within LED elements and the design team has paid a large emphasis on the main grille by shifting the number plate to the lower grille area.

All this is happening alongside GIIAS preparation in Indonesia and Mitsubishi is expected to reveal the Xpander facelift a few days prior to the show, i.e., on 8th November 2021.
