BMW 3 Series updated again in Malaysia – 320i Sport and 330i M Sport from RM290k
KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Malaysia has given the G20-generation 3 Series yet another round of updates – this time affecting the 320i Sport and 330i M Sport, announced at the ongoing My BMW World 2025 showcase.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
What’s new in the 2025 BMW 320i Sport facelift for Malaysia?
The 2025 BMW 320i Sport gets updated with Pearl Chrome grille accents, new 18-inch V-spoke wheels, a BMW Curved Display running Operating System 8.5, and enhanced driver assistance features including Parking Assistant Plus and a 360-degree camera. How much does the updated BMW 330i M Sport cost in Malaysia?
The facelifted 2025 BMW 330i M Sport is priced at RM340,200 with the 5-year extended warranty and service package, or RM313,800 with a 2-year standard warranty.Earlier and at the beginning of this year, the 330i M Sport received tweaks, followed by the long-wheelbase 330Li M Sport in May at the 2025 Malaysia Auto Show.
Now, attention turns to the more accessible variants, continuing the brand’s effort to refresh its best-selling sedan lineup without launching an all-new model.

What's new with the BMW 320i Sport?
On the surface, the BMW 320i Sport still carries a familiar silhouette – long bonnet, short overhangs, and rear-wheel-drive proportions.
However, the 320i is now offered in Sport trim, replacing the previous 320i M Sport. The 320i Sport also now has Comfort Suspension now – no more M Sport suspension or variable sport steering.

A set of 18-inch V-spoke bi-colour alloy wheels with run-flat tyres comes as standard. You’ll also find ambient door lighting, while LED headlights now gain a high-beam assist function.
If you haven't seen the latest 3-series, when you step inside, the 3er feels a lot more digital. The dashboard has slimmer air vents and more premium galvanic-style buttons.
Taking centre stage is the now-standard BMW Curved Display, made up of a 12.3-inch digital cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen. This is all powered by Operating System 8.5, which introduces a new QuickSelect interface that makes hopping between navigation, media and settings much easier.
Also standard is BMW Live Cockpit Professional, which includes a head-up display and Augmented View navigation for improved real-time guidance.

Under the bonnet, the 320i is still powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder producing 184 hp and 300 Nm, paired with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. That’s enough to send it from 0–100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, with a top speed of 235 km/h.
Driver assistance tech includes Driving Assistant (with Lane Change Warning, Speed Limit Info, and Rear Crossing Traffic Alert), Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go, and Parking Assistant Plus, which bundles in a 360-degree camera, Reversing Assistant, BMW Drive Recorder and more.
The 320i Sport comes in four exterior shades: Alpine White, Skyscraper Grey, Black Sapphire, and Arctic Race Blue. The new for 2025 320i Sport has an estimated price of RM290,000 inclusive of BMW's extended warranty and service package.

If you want a bit more pace and M-flavoured flair, the BMW 330i M Sport makes a stronger case. It continues with the same overall body as the 320i, but turns up the aggression thanks to its Gloss Black kidney grille, M Aerodynamics package, M rear spoiler, and Shadowline exterior trim. It also rides on staggered 19-inch M-style double-spoke alloys in 996 M Bicolour.
Inside, it’s more performance-focused, featuring M leather steering, sports seats for front occupants, Aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite trim, and a black headliner. The rest of the cabin is essentially carried over from the 320i: BMW Curved Display, Operating System 8.5, Live Cockpit Professional, and the same storage and lighting conveniences.
Photo from BMWThe main differentiator? Performance. The 330i’s 2.0-litre engine is tuned to produce 258 hp and 400 Nm, enough to dispatch the century sprint in 5.8 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h. It shares the same 8-speed gearbox and rear-wheel-drive setup as the 320i.
Driver assistance features mirror those in the 320i, but also include the full Parking Assistant Plus suite, with Remote 3D View, Surround View, and anti-theft video recorder baked in.
You’ll find similar colour choices here – Alpine White, Arctic Race Blue, the trendy M Brooklyn Grey, and Black Sapphire. The interior is again wrapped in black Sensatec upholstery.
Photo by Adam AubreyThe new for 2025 330i M Sport has an estimated price tag of RM340,200 with BMW's extended warranty and service. Without it which gives you only two years of warranty, you can grab it for RM313,800.
BMW playing the long game
This latest round of updates, while not revolutionary, keeps the G20-generation 3 Series feeling competitive in the face of rivals like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
Instead of a full redesign, BMW Malaysia appears to be strategically refining tech and aesthetics across the board, spacing out updates throughout the year to keep interest fresh.
The revised models carry a slight premium over their outgoing versions, but not by much.
