BMW 7 Series Sedan: Explaining its superior technology
The BMW 740Le has been in Malaysia for quite some time now and the sedan never fails to flatter an onlooker. The owners say that every moment inside it is joy and it is the master of performance. The 7 Series is known for its amazing comfort, exceptional performance, and self-assured presence. And not to forget the superior technology it beholds, but before discussing that, let’s get to the sedan a bit.
The Malaysian-spec model, i.e., the 740Le is powered by the newly developed BMW TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder petrol engine with xDrive as standard. Turned with double-VANOS, High-Precision Injection, Valvetronic, and a TwinScroll turbocharger, the mill generates 340 hp of power. It has an average fuel consumption of 13.33 kmpl. Coming to the central component here is the hybrid transmission in the electric motor.
