New BMW M5

Leading this bold new chapter is the BMW M5, which is the most powerful BMW M5 ever created and the first to feature an electrified drivetrain.
The new M5 has a commanding visual presence with bold character lines and clean surfaces. The front is dominated by a blacked-out kidney grille with Iconic Glow, angular air intakes edged by Adaptive LED headlights. At the rear, a sleek Gurney lip spoiler and a two-piece diffuser with hallmark M twin tailpipes highlight its performance-driven design.

Completing the dynamic exterior are 20-/21-inch M light alloy wheels in double-spoke style 951 M Bicolour Midnight Grey. The M Carbon Exterior Package adds lightweight performance accents to enhance its visual impact.

Under the hood of the performance sedan, we can find the all-new M Hybrid powertrain combining the 585-hp M TwinPower Turbo V8 engine and a 197-hp electric motor. The total system output is rated at 727 hp and 1,000 Nm, enabling the vehicle to hit the 100 kmph mark in 3.5 seconds and 200 kmph in just 10.9 seconds.
Also, part of the M Hybrid powertrain is an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission, M xDrive system with 4WD, 4WD Sport & pure RWD modes, and a Boost Control feature for instant torque (30–150 kmph). The V8’s iconic high-revving soundtrack is enhanced by the BMW M Sport exhaust system and the BMW IconicSounds Electric when operating in hybrid mode.

The high-voltage 18.6 kWh lithium-ion battery is integrated flat within the underbody, offering electric driving for up to 69 kilometres (on the WLTP cycle).

The next BMW M model that made its way to Malaysia is the new M3 Competition M xDrive, which combines power, balance and everyday usability.
Underpinning BMW’s motorsport DNA, the high-performance sports sedan features a refreshed design with new LED headlights with High-Beam Assistant, flared arches, bold sculpted lines, M quad tailpipes, and 19-inch/20-inch forged M wheels in double-spoke style 826 M Black with mixed tyres.

Adding to the visual and performance are red M Compound brakes, M High-Gloss Shadowline trims, and a new high-gloss black BMW M emblem.
The cabin balances motorsport flair with luxury. Key highlights include -

New BMW M2

BMW Malaysia has introduced the new high-performance version of the 2 Series Coupé. The new M2 benefits from subtle refinements while retaining its iconic compact silhouette. The front fascia features the same kidney grille and aggressive air intakes, which are now complemented by Adaptive LED Headlights with Matrix technology and High-beam Assistant.
Also new for the 2025 model year are black-finished exhaust tips and a silver-bordered M2 badge. The M design elements include Shadowline trim, M Carbon Roof, and 19-/20-inch M alloy wheels with red M Compound brakes highlighting its motorsport DNA.

Inside, the all-new BMW M2 benefits from a new M leather steering wheel with M-colour stitching, red M1/M2 buttons, and a red 12 o’clock marker. The BMW Curved Display sits at the dashboard, incorporating a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and 14.9-inch control display powered by BMW Operating System 8.5 with M-specific graphics.

In terms of mechanical setup, the performance-focused coupe gets an uprated 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six petrol engine, which generates 480 PS (up by 20 hp) at 6,250 rpm and a peak torque of 600 Nm (up by 50 Nm) from 2,650 to 6,130 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission, allowing the vehicle to hit the century sprint in 4 seconds (0.1 seconds quicker).
The upgraded M2 retains its rear-wheel-drive setup, 50:50 weight distribution, and adaptive M suspension, offering great performance on both track conditions and daily commutes. Enhancing this dynamic foundation are M Drive, M Sport Differential and M Drive Professional with drift analysis and track features.

The 2025 BMW M2 is available in vibrant colours such as M Zandvoort Blue, Alpine White, M Sao Paulo Yellow, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, M Portimao Blue, Skyscraper Grey, and the new Fire Red metallic (replacing M Toronto Red). As for interior, a single Vernasca leather Black option is available.
New BMW M4 Competition Coupé M xDrive

The new BMW M4 Competition Coupé M xDrive has also made its way to the local market with design updates highlighting its performance-oriented character. Key exterior highlights include Adaptive LED headlights with High-Beam Assistant, Optional laser tail lights, M Lights Shadowline, exclusive M graphics (in Red or Black high gloss), and extended high-gloss black accents. Further enhancing the profile are 19-inch/20-inch forged wheels, red M Compound brakes, and a carbon fibre roof.

The cabin exudes a sporty and premium vibe with a new flat-bottom three-spoke M steering wheel featuring a 12 o’clock marker. Dominating the dashboard is a BMW Curved Display, which integrates a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch Control Display backed by BMW Operating System 8.5. Also, part of the kit are M Carbon Fibre trim, Anthracite M headliner, and galvanic embellishers.

Powering the BMW M4 Competition Coupé M xDrive is a high-revving 3.0-litre powerhouse delivering exhilarating power and the M signature sound. It kicks out a maximum power of 530 hp, which is 20 hp more than its predecessor. Paired with an eight-speed M Steptronic Sport transmission and M xDrive system, the vehicle runs from zero to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds and zero to 200 kmph in 11.8 seconds.

With the help of an M Sport differential and adaptive M suspension, the BMW M4 Competition Coupé ensures a thrilling experience on the road and the racetrack.
