Benefits for existing Honda hybrid owners

This extended package benefits not only new buyers but also existing ones. Yes, that’s right. For existing e:HEV customers, as well as those of the previous generation i-DCD (Jazz, City, and HR-V), the hybrid battery warranty has been extended from the current 8 years to 10 years with unlimited mileage. The coverage for the selected hybrid components has been increased from 5 to 10 years, which ensures continued assurance throughout ownership.

    Coverage for second-hand e:HEV and i-DCD owners

To further strengthen customer confidence, the company is also providing extended hybrid battery and components warranty coverage to the buyers of used e:HEV and i-DCD vehicles. Upon transferring of the ownership, the used car buyers will get coverage valid up to the 10th year from the original purchase.

Part of Honda’s ‘Hybrid Done Right’ campaign

This move is a part of the ‘Hybrid Done Right’ campaign, running from 1 April to 30 June 2026, which highlights the durability, reliability, and real-world performance of the brand’s e:HEV technology. The campaign features a series of engaging programmes designed to showcase the benefits of the e:HEV technology, along with rewarding customers with attractive offers.

The extended warranty, backed by the brand’s robust nationwide after-sales support and reliable parts availability, positions Honda’s hybrids as a solid, long-term ownership mobility choice, rather than just fuel-efficient alternatives.
