iCAUR Glenmarie in Malaysia opens as brand’s first dealership globally, ahead of iCAUR 03 launch in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: iCAUR has made Glenmarie the site of its first dealership in the world, marking a significant milestone for the young automotive brand as it moves closer to the debut of its first model, the iCAUR 03.

The outlet, known as iCAUR Glenmarie, is managed by Absolute Motor Sdn Bhd and officially began operations in Shah Alam this week.

A global first for iCAUR in Malaysia

iCAUR Malaysia vice-president Emily Lek described the opening as proof of how quickly the brand has established itself locally since its debut at the Malaysian Autoshow 2025.

“In under four months since our debut, iCAUR has stamped an indelible mark in Malaysia, delivering a simple yet profound message — Born to Play,” she said.

Lek added that iCAUR Glenmarie represents that spirit of individuality and self-expression, becoming the first dealership not only in Malaysia but also worldwide.

Absolute Motor managing director Andy Yap said the decision to pioneer the world’s first iCAUR outlet in Glenmarie reflects confidence in the brand.
“Offering unique designs and formidable engineering, our commitment to become the first iCAUR dealership represents our belief in the brand and in its promise of sustainable mobility that also resonates with the lifestyle of its owners,” he said.

Facilities and setup

Covering 18,912 square feet, the Glenmarie outlet functions as more than a showroom. It features:

• A five-car display area

• Customer lounge with free Wi-Fi, coffee and pastries

• Dedicated delivery bay

• Two private EV charging bays

• The iCAUR Arcade — a gaming zone for customers and visitors

On the after-sales side, the dealership comes with three service bays and a customisation bay, supported by a specialised workshop capable of servicing up to 300 vehicles monthly. A team of 30 trained staff have been tasked to handle sales, service, and customer care.

Network expansion and model launch

By September, iCAUR Malaysia expects to have 18 sales points and nine dealerships nationwide, with Absolute Motor expanding its footprint further in the coming months.

The first iCAUR model, the iCAUR 03, is scheduled to launch in Malaysia on 9 September 2025. Bookings are already open, with customers able to place a fully refundable RM1,000 booking fee. Pricing is estimated between RM145,000 and RM155,000.

The all-electric iCAUR 03 will be offered in two configurations:

• iCAUR 03 2WD

  • 135kW (184PS) motor, 220Nm torque

  • 65.7kWh LFP battery

  • NEDC range: 426km

• iCAUR 03 iWD (Intelligent Wheel Drive)

  • Dual motors, 205kW (279PS), 385Nm torque

  • 69.8kWh battery

  • NEDC range: 418km
