Well, a new model will soon be added to this list, which is called the Jaguar I-Pace.

    Jaguar Malaysia recently posted a teaser of the I-Pace on its social media handle with a caption “the electrifying world of Jaguar awaits.” Well, this is not the first time the automaker spilled the beans on the EV’s arrival as the car made its first appearance on Jaguar Malaysia’s official website back in 2019, followed by the automaker’s statement of introducing the EV in the near future. However, the exact timeline of the EV is still undisclosed.

    The upcoming Jaguar I-Pace features an elegant and highly aerodynamic exterior with an impressive drag coefficient of 0,29Cd. With a distinctive silhouette, dramatic bonnet scoop, a flowing waistline, and signature rear haunches, the EV turns the heads where it goes. Part of the equipment kit is a bold grille, LED headlights (with optional Matrix LED units), a panoramic glass roof, LED tail lights, hands-free boot release, and a range of wheels ranging from 18- to 22-inch in size.

    The interior of the Jaguar I-Pace offers a classic balance of luxury craftsmanship and sports car. The clean and uncluttered cabin has tactile features and sweeping lines along with abundant space for comfortable seating.     The Jaguar I-Pace will come powered by two electric motors (installed on each axle), which deliver an exceptional combined power output of 400 PS and a peak torque of 696 Nm. The motors are juiced by a state-of-the-art 90-kWh Lithium-ion battery pack offering a range of 470 kilometres on the WLTP cycle. The EV gets an all-wheel-drive system and can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds.

    As for charging, the EV will take just 40 minutes to achieve an 80% SoC using DC rapid charging (up to 100-kW). However, home charging with the help of a 7-KW AC wall box will take ten hours for the same state of charge.

    In terms of safety and advanced-driver assistance, the upcoming Jaguar I-Pace EV is expected to get six airbags, parking assist, 3D 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, hill launch assist, dynamic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, low traction launch, enhanced brake regeneration, and more.
