Leapmotor B10 EV bookings open in Malaysia; est. price revealed

KUALA LUMPUR: Globally revealed at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, the Leapmotor B10 is ready to make its way to Malaysia. Leapmotor has started accepting bookings for the upcoming EV and announced its launch timeline and estimated price.

The Leapmotor B10 is set to launch in December 2025 and is estimated to be priced between RM 110,000 and RM 120,000 in Malaysia. Early bird customers can place their booking with an order fee of just RM 80 and enjoy the exceptional launch incentive. The automaker offers an exclusive ‘LeapX100’ package worth up to RM 8,000 to the first 200 buyers, including a free wallbox charger or complimentary service, along with a generous cash rebate.

Leapmotor B10: What do we know so far

• The Leapmotor is a C-segment electric SUV, measuring 4,515 mm in length, 1,885 mm in width and 1,655 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm.

• The boot capacity is measured at 420 litres and can be expanded to 1,415 litres with the rear seats folded down. 
• Based on the brand’s new LEAP3.5 architecture, the EV incorporates a highly integrated battery-chassis platform, set to deliver a comfortable, dynamic, and efficient driving experience.
• The Malaysia-spec model will come equipped with a 67.1-kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP-claimed driving range of up to 460 km.

• The upcoming B10 boasts striking design elements and technology both inside and out. Expected feature kit include - 14.6-inch infotainment unit, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster, a wireless smartphone charging tray, 64-colour ambient lighting, leather upholstery, power-adjustable seats, seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, and a full ADAS suite.
• The EV is offered in 5 colour options - Starry Night Blue, Dawn Purple, Tundra Grey, Light White and Metallic Black. 

Leapmotor accelerates rapid growth in 2025

As Leapmotor gears up to launch its second EV in Malaysia, let’s have a look at its rapid growth in 2025. 

• The company delivered a total of 70,289 vehicles across China (domestic + export), setting a new record for the sixth consecutive month. It represents a 5.45% increase over September 2025 (66,657 units) and an 84% hike compared to October 2024. 
• From January to October 2025, Leapmotor has sold a total of 465,805 vehicles, reflecting an impressive 120.7% year-on-year growth. 
• In September this year, the brand produced the one-millionth vehicle, just 343 days after the 500,000th car, and joined the prestigious 'Million Club.

As an integral part of the brand’s strategic plan, the B10 is Leapmotor’s third global model, which is now set to enhance its presence across more than 20 countries and regions by the end of 2025.
