MAS 2025: smart #1 BRABUS Limited Edition revealed; bookings open

KUALA LUMPUR: Alongside previewing the smart #5, smart Malaysia has revealed the much-anticipated smart #1 BRABUS Limited Edition at the ongoing Malaysia Autshow 2025. This exclusive smart EV is developed in collaboration with BRABUS Kuala Lumpur and features standout styling and high-performance engineering.

What makes the smart #1 BRABUS Limited Edition stand out?

Custom BRABUS aerodynamic kit

The special-edition smart #1 boasts a custom BRABUS aerodynamic kit, which includes a distinctive front spoiler, rear spoiler, aggressive front fascia inserts, and a sleek rear diffuser. It not only provides a sportier, more dynamic appearance but also enhances performance by improving airflow.

Sport suspension setup

The limited-edition smart #1 benefits from a specially tuned sport suspension setup, featuring lowered springs that bring down the ride height by 35 mm. It contributes to the vehicle’s athletic stance and sharpens its handling characteristics.

BRABUS Monoblock Z alloy wheels

The smart #1 BRABUS Limited Edition rides on 19-inch BRABUS Monoblock Z alloy wheels, featuring a 10-spoke pattern. The new rims promise to offer better grip and stability on the road.

BRABUS interior touches

The interior also incorporates several exclusive BRABUS touches, such as - 

• BRABUS red contrast stitching and piping
• Exclusive BRABUS interior trims and finishes
• Backlit BRABUS-branded scuff plates
• Aluminium pedal pads

At the heart of the smart #1 BRABUS lies a dual-motor AWD setup that churns out a maximum power of 428 PS and a peak torque of 543 Nm. The motors are fed by a 66 kWh NMC battery pack, offering a WLTP-claimed driving range of 400 km.

At the event, Mr. Zhang Qiang, Chief Executive Officer of PRO-NET, shared his excitement about smart’s latest offering, saying, “The smart #1 BRABUS Limited Edition blends cutting-edge electric technology with an unforgettable driving experience. It’s made for those who want top performance with no compromises, dynamic, unique, and full of fun. We’re thrilled to bring this exciting model to Malaysian EV enthusiasts.”

The smart #1 BRABUS Limited Edition bookings are now open in Malaysia, with the price expected to be announced by June 2025. It is likely to be more than the standard BRABUS trim, which retails for RM 249k.
