Mitsubishi launches Triton Knight, limited to 120 units

KUALA LUMPUR: Mitsubishi Motors has launched the limited-edition Triton Knight in Malaysia with a price tag of RM 138k. The car is limited to just 120 units and is based on the range-topping Adventure X variant. 

Triton Knight carries a 2.4-litre MIVEC turbo diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 178 hp and a peak torque of up to 430 Nm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and features automatic transmission along with the Super Select 4WD-II driveline.

The limited-edition Triton Knight will get additional accessories than its predecessor, the Triton X. The car’s kit is composed of bumper garnish coated in grey, sports bar, side window deflectors, hood protectors and body stickers at the exterior. This vehicle comes wrapped in White Diamond exterior paint, which is the sole colour option available. It rides on 18-inch wheels. 

The interior of the vehicle gets mats with Knight embroidery over them and consists of scuff plates along with equipment from the Adventure X. This limited-edition vehicle also gets a seven-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and the All Round Monitor (ARM).

Safety measures in the vehicle include seven airbags, misacceleration mitigation system, traction control, forward collision mitigation, and rear cross safety alert along with the other list of safety features. The Triton Knight covers a five-year, 200,000 km warranty. The Mitsubishi Motors authorised dealers will get selected accessories from the Knight kit list.

The existing customers who purchase selected Triton variants will be entitled to rebates of up to RM3,000, as a part of the year-end promotion.
