Nissan Navara N-Trek Warrior arrived in Thailand

KUALA LUMPUR: The Japanese automaker, Nissan, revealed an exclusive halo version of its popular Navara last year. Dubbed as Navara N-Trek Warrior, the pickup truck features an array of engineering enhancements and modifications that deliver the most stylish and potent Navara ever. The pickup has recently made its official debut in Thailand.

The new Nissan Navara N-Trek Warrior is built by Premcar, a vehicle engineering firm. The exterior highlights include a black grille, LED headlamp bezels, fog lamp bezels, a steel front bumper, roof rails, alloy sports bar, rear bumper, fender flares, alloy wheels and tyres, and orange accents on the black lower fascia, side steps, and side mirrors.

The suspension package adds 15 mm to the truck's ride height and is said to improve its on-road and off-road capability. 275/70-17 Cooper AT3 tyres add a further 25 mm to the ride height, making a total of 40 mm overall lift, and these also widen the wheel track by 30 mm to total 1600 mm.

The interior houses N-Trek Warrior-embroidered front head restraints and orange-accented carpet floor mats. Other changes include black leather seat trim with orange fabric inserts, and orange stitching on the centre console, front armrests and steering wheel.

On the technology front, the pickup is equipped with the latest 8.0-inch touch-screen media interface with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a surround-view parking camera system, sat-nav, dual-zone climate control, and heated front seats.

Under the bonnet, the Navara N-Trek Warrior houses the same 2.5-litre YD25DDTi, four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine tuned to produce different levels of output. In the 4x2 variant, the engine makes 163 PS of power and 403 Nm of peak torque, while in 4x4 version, it churns out 190 PS and 450 Nm. Both models are coupled with a 7-speed automatic transmission.

Now when the model has made its way to Southeast Asia, we can expect its soon arrival in certain markets, including Malaysia.
