Nissan Serena e-POWER in Malaysia estimated to be between RM160k to RM180k, launch in March
KUALA LUMPUR: Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM), custodian of the Nissan brand in Malaysia, has announced that the New Nissan Serena e-POWER will carry an estimated price range of RM160,000 to RM180,000, ahead of its planned launch in March.

Power comes via an e-POWER setup where the wheels are driven by an electric motor, rated at 163 PS (120 kW) and 315 Nm, paired to an automatic single-speed gear reduction. The car also gets e-Pedal Step, which supports single-pedal style acceleration and deceleration in suitable driving conditions.
On the petrol side, the Serena e-POWER is listed with a 1,433 cc HR14DDe 3-cylinder DOHC direct-injection engine, while energy storage is via a 1.769 kWh lithium-ion battery. Fuel consumption is stated at 18.5 km/L (NEDC), with a range figure of up to 1,000 km also mentioned.
In terms of safety and driver assistance, the Serena e-POWER is shown with a fairly comprehensive suite, including Intelligent Emergency Braking, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Warning with Blind Spot Intervention, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Alertness, and an Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection. On the outside, the Serena e-POWER is shown with a V-motion grille and aerodynamic front bumper, LED projector headlights with signature lighting, hands-free power sliding doors, a dual back door, and boomerang-style LED tail lamps.
It rides on 16-inch alloy wheels with 205/65R16 tyres, with MacPherson struts up front and a torsion beam rear suspension, plus ventilated disc brakes front and rear.
Warranty coverage stated includes five years or 100,000 km for the vehicle, and eight years or 160,000 km for EV components, with terms and conditions applying.
Colour options listed for the Premium Highway Star (2-tone) include a black roof paired with Turquoise Blue, Brilliant White, Diamond Black, or Dark Metal Gray.
