KUALA LUMPUR: PRO-NET, the electric vehicle arm under national automaker Proton, has reached another milestone in its EV rollout. As of October 31, 2025, the Proton e.MAS 7 has recorded total sales of 7,413 units — 6,954 sold locally and 459 exported — maintaining its position as Malaysia’s best-selling EV for ten straight months.

So far, demand for the e.MAS 5 has been strongest in the Central region, followed by Southern and Northern Malaysia. Interest from East Malaysia and the East Coast continues to rise, reflecting how quickly the idea of an attainable EV is spreading nationwide.
