Proton launches 2026 East Malaysia Day campaign, offers free vehicle inspection and more

KUALA LUMPUR: Alongside Peninsular Malaysia, Proton also has a strong presence in East Malaysia, where models like the Saga and X50 are quite popular. To further strengthen its connection with customers in the region, the automaker has launched the 2026 East Malaysia Day Campaign in celebration of East Malaysia Day.

    Proton 2026 East Malaysia Day Campaign: Key highlights 

    • The campaign offers a complimentary 40-point Safety Inspection conducted by Proton-trained technicians. The inspection covers essential components such as brakes, tyres, battery, suspension, fluid levels, and other critical checks, ensuring the vehicle’s fitness for driving. 
    • It is available at all Proton authorised service centres across Sabah and Sarawak, including 2S outlets, and is open to owners of all Proton vehicles, including the PIES (Persona, Iriz, Exora, and Saga), X Series (X50, X70, and X90), and S Series vehicles. 
    • Proton also offers an exclusive neck pillow to those customers who buy a genuine Proton wiper set during the campaign (while stock lasts) as a token of appreciation for choosing Proton genuine parts.
    • The 2026 East Malaysia Day Campaign reflects the automaker’s continued commitment to delivering quality after-sales services and ensuring customers throughout East Malaysia.
