KUALA LUMPUR: We were expecting it sooner or later, as ASEAN NCAP doesn't seem to delay its work beyond a point. Finally, the renowned safety assessment program tested Proton's all-new B-segment SUV, X50 and as we expected, it has been awarded a five-star rating.

According to the ASEAN NCAP website, the full 'details of the result will be released soon.’ So, wait a little longer, and we'll bring you the minutest of the test details, including adult and child occupant protection scores and available safety assist technology.
