Proton’s Buka Lembaran Baharu Promo – Get duit Raya rebates up to RM10,000!

KUALA LUMPUR:  Ramadan has arrived, which means many Malaysians are preparing for long journeys to reunite with loved ones.

To make these travels more comfortable, Proton has introduced the Buka Lembaran Baharu campaign, offering cash rebates and trade-in deals for those looking to start the celebrations with a new ride.

Proton offering Duit Raya?

As part of the promotion, Proton is offering Duit Raya rebates of up to RM10,000 across its entire model range. Buyers can also take advantage of additional overtrade support from Proton’s used car division at participating outlets, making it a good time to upgrade or trade in an existing car.

Proton’s SUV Lineup Gets Festive Deals

Proton’s SUV range—spanning the X50, X70, and X90—continues to be a strong choice for buyers, offering a mix of performance, technology, and safety.

• Proton X50 – The best-selling B-segment SUV received an update last June, and the introduction of the X50 SE earlier this year has already seen over 500 units delivered. Buyers can enjoy rebates of up to RM9,000 and an additional RM2,000 in trade-in support, bringing potential savings up to RM11,000.
• Proton X70 – The refreshed 2025 model, launched in August last year, features a revised design, improved fuel economy, and modern upgrades. Under the current promotion, customers can get up to RM9,000 in rebates and RM2,000 in overtrade support.
• Proton X90 – The flagship D-segment SUV gets the biggest deal, with up to RM10,000 in rebates. Trade-in support of RM5,000 bumps the total potential savings to RM15,000.

Sedans Also Get Raya Discounts

The promo isn’t just for SUV buyers—Proton’s sedan range is also part of the deal:

• Proton Saga, Iriz & Persona – These entry-level models come with rebates of up to RM1,000, along with trade-in support between RM800 to RM1,000 on selected variants. Buyers can enjoy total savings of up to RM2,000.
• Proton S70 – The new C-segment leader in Proton’s lineup is also included in the promo. Customers can get rebates of up to RM8,000, and buyers of the Flagship X variant will receive a free Aerokit worth RM3,130. Overtrade support of RM2,000 brings the total package value up to RM13,000.

Proton Encourages Buyers to Upgrade Before the Festive Season

Speaking about the campaign, Roslan Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer of Proton Edar, said:
