Zeekr expands in Malaysia — New KLCC center open & 009 Executive price announced

KUALA LUMPUR: Ahead of launching its third electric car, Geely’s premium sub-brand Zeekr has taken two significant moves to expand its footprint in Malaysia. The automaker has opened the doors of a new dealership and announced the pricing of the Zeekr 009 Executive, previewed at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025.

Zeekr Centre KLCC flagship store opens in KL

The brand has opened a new hub for premium mobility in Kuala Lumpur, named Zeekr Centre KLCC, in association with its authorised dealer, Preeminent Auto Sdn Bhd (“Preeminent Auto”).

Set to raise the bar for the brand’s retail experience, the new outlet is strategically located within the prestigious Golden Triangle. It reinforces Zeekr’s commitment to establishing a strong and sophisticated presence across Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asian region.  

Key highlights include -

• Spanning 4,800 sq ft, the showroom features a spacious display area that can showcase up to five vehicles at a time.
• While the centre’s exterior boasts a minimalist dark tone, highlighted with Zeekr's signature orange accents, the interior has a premium and welcoming vibe with a striking floor-to-ceiling glass façade, bright interior and a luxurious ambience.
• Zeekr Centre KLCC is also equipped with three AC charging bays to support EV customers.

Zeekr 009 Executive launched in Malaysia

Zeekr has expanded the 009 MPV lineup with the introduction of a new entry-level trim. Positioned below the Luxury and Ultra Luxury variants, the Zeekr 009 Executive is priced at RM299,800 (on-the-road, without insurance). For comparison, the 7-seater Luxury and Ultra Luxury trims are priced at RM349,800 and RM359,800, respectively.

Just like higher variants, the Zeekr 009 Executive features a lounge-inspired cabin, immersive entertainment system, advanced safety architecture, and long-range capabilities. 

Powering this luxury MPV is a single front-wheel drive motor that generates a maximum power of 335 hp and a peak torque of 373 Nm. The motor is fed a 116 kWh battery pack, offering an exceptional driving range of 604 km (on the WLTP cycle). The EV promises a smooth yet powerful performance with a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of 7.9 seconds.

On the purchase of the new 009 variant, Zeekr Malaysia offers a complimentary package comprising an 11kW wallbox charger, a portable charger, and free solar tinting.
