KUALA LUMPUR: PRO-NET, the EV arm of Proton, has introduced the locally produced 2026 Proton e.MAS 7 for the Malaysian market, with a small round of feature updates split between the Prime and Premium variants.

    • Powered tailgate is now added, operated via a button press or key fob, aimed at making boot access easier when your hands are full.

    e.MAS 7 Premium

    • ADAS upgrade adds three functions:

      • Evasive Manoeuvre Assist (EMA), supports steering around obstacles in an emergency.

      • Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA), alerts the driver to vehicles approaching from the sides at intersections.

      • Active Lane Change Assist (ALCA), monitors blind spots and assists steering during lane changes when needed.
