KUALA LUMPUR: The Nissan Serena received a sixth-generation upgrade in its home ground in late 2022, followed by its arrival in ASEAN markets, including Singapore and Indonesia, in 2024. Well, this versatile MPV is now ready to hit the local shores.

2026 Nissan Serena e-Power: Key highlights
Drivetrain and fuel efficiency
The 2026 Nissan Serena e-Power will be offered in a single Premium Highway Star variant equipped with an e-motor producing 163 PS of maximum power and 315 Nm of peak torque. Also part of the setup is a conventional HR14 1.4-litre 3-cylinder engine that serves as a generator and a lithium-ion battery pack having a capacity of 1.769 kWh. The fuel efficiency is rated at 18.5 km per litre.
Dimensions
The upgraded MPV measures 4,765 mm in length, 1,715 mm in width, and 1,885 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,870 mm.
Exterior
The design has undergone a significant transformation, featuring a more sculpted bodywork with a new V-motion front grille edged by full LED headlights and pronounced bumpers. Adding sophistication to the exterior are large windows, automatic sliding passenger doors, and stylish rims. The rear features a minimalist design with LED combination lights and a dual back door.

The new Serena e-Power features a spacious cabin that can accommodate up to 7 passengers. The feature kit includes -
