C27 Nissan Serena with Impul kit spotted

KUALA LUMPUR: A completely wrapped C27 Nissan Serena has been spotted in Malaysia. However, the rear wheel poking outside from the wrap cleared that it was the C27 Nissan Serena Hybrid. Furthermore, the Impul Millennium alloys hinted that the car was indeed wearing the Impul kit.

With the 18-inch dual-tone Impul Millennium rims wrapped inside 215/45 tyres a certainty on the Serena, the other components of the Impul kit remain unknown to all. The website, however, showcases a lot of parts like exhaust systems, body-kit, suspension among others.

There was a C26 Serena S-Hybrid tuned by Impul that came out in 2016. The hybrid MVP then was fitted with 18-inch SX-50 alloy wheels, an exterior body kit, leather seats with diamond-stitching, and much more. Door panel kit, front bumper, rear half spoiler, and aero door visors might also be a part of the kit on the C27.

Impul Blast II Muffler exhaust system, Super Shock Type I suspension system, Impul custom steering wheel stitching, Impul floor mat, Impul badging, and LED front fog lamps could also be the part of the package. The powerhouse, however, should be the same MR20DD 2.0-litre direct-injected 4-pot petrol-fed motor which throws out 150 PS of maximum power at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 200 Nm at 4,400 rpm. Transmission duties should be handled by a CVT unit. There will also be an ECO electric motor producing 2.6 PS and 48 Nm. This electric motor also replaces the starter motor.

A boost of 50 Nm can be provided by the electric motor while accelerating. A mileage of 14.2 kmpl on the European NEDC cycle is offered by the Nissan C27 Serena S-Hybrid.
