KUALA LUMPUR: With the start of the new year, the Malaysian automotive industry is more ready than ever to welcome new vehicles. Following the announcements from Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, and Proton of their new models, Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia has also released a teaser for its brand-new SUV, the J5.

- Positioned below the Jaecoo J7, the Jaecoo J5 is a B-segment SUV that measures 4,380 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height, with a 2,620 mm wheelbase.
- Dubbed as the “Everyday Superstar,” the SUV features refined design, advanced technology, and lifestyle-friendly versatility.

- The suspension setup consists of MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link system at the rear, making it stand out in the segment.
