Lexus NX F Sport get F Sport parts by TRDJapan

KUALA LUMPUR: It was in June this year when Lexus NX was made available in the United States and now the mid-size crossover is launched in Japan.

In Japan, dealerships offer customization and it is popular among customers, therefore TRD Japan offers bodykit and more. Like the previous-gen model, the new Lexus NX is offered with sportier F Sport elements including - sharper design on the grille & rims and black highlights.

The F Sport Parts are designed under the theme “aerodynamic control and total balance”. The package includes -

• Gloss black front bumper
• Deeper aerodynamic-effect look
• Revised side skirts design (making the NX appear closer to the ground)
• Rear bumper diffuser with ‘racing’ flavours with plenty of creases & fins
• Aerodynamically efficient and highly aesthetic ORVMs (rectifies airflow )

The F Sport Parts Aerodynamic package with painted four-piece body kit along with side mirrors covers and quad-tip sports exhaust muffler, is priced at JPY 513,300 (AROUND rm 19k).

Wait, as TRD Japan is offering more to its customers like -

• Forged rim in 20x7.5 size, finished in Melanite Gun Metallic at JPY 616,000 (AROUND rm 23k)
• A pair of bodyshell ‘Performance Dampers” and chassis bracing members at JPY 110,000 per package (around RM 4.1K)
• All-back ‘Black Edition’ F Sport Parts Aerodynamic Package for customers with dark cars

Note, the Lexus NX F Sport package offers no upgrades for the interior.

Ending with a little bit of a revision, the new Lexus NX is powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre mill pumping out 201 hp of maximum power. Customers can also opt for a more powerful turbocharged 2.4-litre unit making 279 hp, a self-charging hybrid option with 242 hp, and a PHEV maxing out at 306 hp.

The Japan-spec NX 250 base trim is priced at JPY4.82 million (approx. RM178k ) and the range-topping NX 450h + F Sport retails for JPY7.38 million (approx. RM273k). The turbocharged NX 350 F variant is priced at JPY5.99 million (approx. RM221k).
