Only 69 units: Jetour T2 Dark Warrior limited edition now on sale in Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR Jetour Malaysia has picked a nice bit of timing for its latest special edition.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
How much is the Jetour T2 Dark Warrior Limited Edition in Malaysia?
The nett selling price is RM156,800, the same as a standard Jetour T2, but the RM10,800 Dark Warrior accessory package is required as part of the purchase. That brings the total to RM167,600, excluding registration fees, road tax and insurance. How many units are available in Malaysia?
Only 69 units, tied to Malaysia's 69th Merdeka celebrations. What is included in the RM10,800 Dark Warrior accessory package?
A guard rail, grille, modular side ladder, Warrior roof rack, stealth emblems and a side hanging plate. These are genuine Jetour accessories covered by a three-year or 100,000km warranty. The Jetour T2 Dark Warrior Limited Edition was announced on 21 August 2026, with production capped at 69 units for the local market to mark Malaysia's 69th Merdeka.
It is the boxy T2 dressed in matte black, and the number of cars is small enough that this one will genuinely be rare on Malaysian roads.

What sets it apart
The matte black paint is the main event, and Jetour has finished the look properly rather than just changing the colour. The roof rails are blacked out, so are the Jetour logo and T2 emblem at the rear, and red brake calipers sit behind the wheels for a bit of contrast. It is a restrained combination that suits the T2's upright, squared-off shape.
Every Dark Warrior also comes with a genuine Jetour accessory package, which is what pushes the car from dark to properly rugged. It includes a guard rail, a redesigned grille, a modular side ladder, the Warrior roof rack, stealth emblems and a side hanging plate.
Being factory accessories rather than aftermarket parts, they carry their own three-year or 100,000km warranty, which matters if you have ever tried to claim on a workshop-fitted bodykit.
How the pricing works
The Dark Warrior carries a nett selling price of RM156,800, the same as a standard Jetour T2, with the RM10,800 accessory package required as part of the purchase. That brings the total to RM167,600, excluding registration fees, road tax and insurance.
Worth being clear about that, since the two figures are quoted separately. RM167,600 is the number you plan your loan around, and it works out to a RM10,800 premium over a standard T2 for the paint, the darkened trim and the accessory kit.
For a 69-unit run with factory-backed parts, that is not unreasonable, but it is money for appearance rather than performance, so it comes down to how much the look is worth to you.
One practical note if you have not owned matte before: it is cared for differently to gloss. It cannot be polished or machine buffed, and panel damage tends to mean a respray rather than a quick correction.
Ask the showroom to walk you through the recommended wash routine and touch-up options at the point of purchase.
Mechanically this is the same T2 that launched in Malaysia in March. The 2.0-litre turbocharged direct injection engine puts out 180kW and 375Nm through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, with Jetour's Intelligent XWD system and its 7+X drive modes handling traction. That is a healthy amount of grunt for the class and enough to make the T2 feel more capable than its price suggests.
Equipment carries over too, including Level 2 ADAS, six SRS airbags and a Panoramic View Monitoring System, and the T2 already holds a five-star ASEAN NCAP rating. Ownership terms are unchanged as well: five-time free service maintenance, a seven-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, and a 10-year or 1,000,000km powertrain warranty, whichever comes first.
Even at RM167,600, the Dark Warrior remains the most affordable route into a big, boxy, adventure-styled SUV in Malaysia. The GWM Tank 300 is the closest thing to it on looks, and that starts at RM250,000 for the turbo and RM259,800 for the hybrid, so the Jetour is still a long way under.
Buyers wanting the same design language for less can look at the smaller Jetour T1, which opens at RM129,800.
Given how quickly the standard T2 built up bookings after launch, 69 units is unlikely to hang around. If the matte finish and the Warrior kit are what you were after anyway, this is a tidier way to get there than sourcing the parts yourself, and you get the exclusivity thrown in.
If the colour is not a priority, the standard car covers the same ground for RM10,800 less.
Bookings and availability are through authorised Jetour showrooms nationwide.
