This is the 5-unit limited Land Rover Defender Convertible by Heritage Customs

KUALA LUMPUR: The Dutch coachbuilder, Heritage Customs, has added a touch of excitement to the iconic Land Rover Defender SUV by rolling out its roof-top version. Catering to enthusiasts who crave the wind in their hair while navigating the off-road terrain, the Defender convertible is a special edition model with production limited to just 5 units.

The key highlights of the Land Rover Defender Convertible are as follows - 

• Based on the Defender 90, the special Defender Heritage Customs is also known as  Valiance Convertible. It is the company's second modified Defender, following a different one revealed nearly a year ago with white steel wheels

• The SUV boasts an electrically folding fabric top that complements its Sunbeam Yellow body paint
• It has a flashier appearance with larger two-tone alloys and a spare alloy attached to the fifth door for added utility

• The coachbuilder did not just remove the fixed hardtop of the SUV but also added a full roll cage for extra strength and safety
• The cabin also received a makeover featuring yellow stitching that harmonises with the vibrant exterior

• The dashboard is embellished with 3D inlays crafted from etched aluminium while the seats are improved and wrapped with black quilted leather upholstery.
• Also part of the kit is an optional central seat in the front
