Toyota 86 GT “Yellow Limited” Edition Revealed

KUALA LUMPUR: A special version of Toyota's popular 86 model will be offered soon for its domestic market. Toyota has appropriately named it “Yellow Limited” basedon the car's tone, but the special edition also gets some upgrades inside-out.

Along with the Sunrise Yellow paintjob, there are two distinct “aero packages” offered. The first one is called 86 GT “Yellow Limited Aero Package”, and consists of a set of customized front-rear bumper spoiler, rear large spoiler, side mudguard and floor undercover that complement the car's aerodynamics.. The second one is 86 GT “Yellow Limited Aero Package FT”, which adds a set of BBS 18-inch forged aluminum wheels wrapped in Bridgestone POTENZA rubbers, sport brake pads and Sachs absorbers.

The interiors are laid out in a black tone with Ashirai yellow contrast to provide apropriate detailing. This yellow color is also used for stitching the steering and leather & Alcantra seat upholstery. The new Toyota GT86 holds an extra power support. It bears a stronger engine that facilitates better fumes frameworks and an enhanced air consumption mechanism. A 2.0L 4 barrel engine is expected to be produce power of 200hp and a maximum torque of 151 lb-ft.

Regarding the transmission, the rear wheel drive system will be paired with a 8 speed programmed gearbox. The new GT-86 is also expected to have AWD as a feature of driving options.

Production of the Toyota 86 GT “Yellow Limited” edition will commence by this November.
