All new BMW X1 teased in Malaysia, debuts this weekend
Kuala Lumpur: Cheer up BMW fans, as the German carmaker is all primed to set ashore it's all new X1. The entry level SUV widely acclaimed across the globe by now was revealed in June. Now the time has come to set out the second-generation BMW X1 in the local Malaysian market. BMW Malaysia has already begun the promotion of the car. The company has released several teasers to fume up the excitement in the car enthusiasts. As a part of the campaign for the compact SUV, the company is inviting members of the public to check out the car for yourselves this weekend.

As per the information released through teasers, the all new F48 BMW X1 will make its first public at the Quad @ TREC, a specially built-up area to host outdoor activities along Jalan Tun Razak, located between Zouk and Electric Boulevard. The car will be showcased at the preceded location on October 10 and 11.
Although BMW has not revealed much information about the car. Yes, they released two teasers from which we can somehow anticipate the exteriors of the car, but it we cannot have a perfect idea of what's on the inside. We can see the teasers images that the all new SUV’s has been rendered with a new front end design, where the new headlamps and repositioned (lowered) fog lamps are apparent if we look closely, we can also identify the new front bumper which was earlier introduced in the compact SUV.

The second-gen BMW X1 is BMW's third model to the compact SUV series. It is also based on the similar UKL 1 architecture like its ancestors. Apart from its architecture, the car receives the same front-wheel drive platform that’s common to the RM219k 2 Series Active Tourer and the RM280k 2 Series Gran Tourer. Overall the all new X1 is compiled more meticulously to offer better comfort, more spaciousness and a fairly taller ride.
BMW X1's exteriors are more compelling this time as compared to its earlier versions. This all new facelift is added with a bolder look fairly coupled with a youthful approach in design, without sacrificing the purposefulness and stature of a true SUV.
Apart from the exteriors the X1 has also received rejuvenated interiors. The X1 now have a slightly redesigned layout of the dash with an availability of new trim and upholstery colour options.

At present BMW, Malaysia is offering its first-generation X1 at prices starting from RM237,800 for the sDrive20i, and RM267,800 for the xDrive20d.
