Instead of sleigh what if Santa Claus rides on pickup trucks
Every year on Christmas, Santa Claus comes riding along on his sleigh to greet us and shower us with gifts. But with time, we feel that like us and our gift choices, even Santa needs to upgrade a few things in his life. For example, the way he commutes, well no doubt reindeer and sleigh has the old world charm to it, but in this fast-paced life, Santa needs the speed. However, it can’t be any vehicle, it should be something that’s strong, fast, and most importantly has a massive trank for the presents Santa is carrying. Therefore, keeping all the requirements in mind, we thought pickups would be a perfect choice.
So, here are four pickups that Santa can replace his sleigh with, but before that first let’s see the benefits of these mini trucks -
- Modern-day pickup trucks are very well equipped
- They are a good option over sedans and hatchbacks
- Lower import tax on commercial vehicles leads to lower prices
- Can easily ride over harsh conditions
- Provides with ease of driving and good refinement
Time to have a look at the pickup list -

Thus, making it a perfect ride for the Santa Clause. With Raptor, the Ranger lineup has set a new benchmark in off-road performance. Helping it serve the harshest of terrain and environment are its ultra-strength frame, an elevated design, and giant bash plate. Injected with Ford Performance DNA, the Raptor is Ford’s high-speed off-road performance vehicle. Adding to its off-road skills are features like a rear differential lock, 4WD transfer dial, all-terrain tyres, and active traction control.
Chevrolet Colorado
Following the success of Colorado in Malaysia, Chevrolet decides to spice things up by launching the all-new X-Edition. Though this new edition is similar to the standard trim in technical terms, it’s on the design front where it receives an added flair. Available in three variants - X, X-Urban, and X-ADV, all powered by a 2499 cc DOHC with Variable Geometry Turbo mill. Paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, it produces 180 hp at 3600 rpm and 440 Nm at 2000 rpm. It comes with an electronic 4WD system, which allows the driver to select between 2WD and 4WD. Isuzu D-Max
The next pickup for Santa is from Isuzu, the D-Max. The Variable Geometry System Turbocharger and Commonrail Technology make it a spectacular pickup to drive. With the D-Max the driver, in this case, the Santa can choose between 2H, 4H, and 4L, however, for ultimate control, the last two options will provide more traction. Also, providing best-in-class stability and vehicle control are the set active safety features like Electronic Stability Control, Anti-lock Braking System, Traction Control System, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, and Brake Assist. And when it comes to fuel efficiency, no one does it better than the D-Max. The large 3.0-litre under-stressed engine produces 380 Nm of torque from 1800 rpm. The cabin comes with plenty of storage compartments, and the 60/40 foldable seats increase the boot space.
