Land Rover Defender Gets an Overfinch Touch

Kuala Lumpur: After 67 years, Land Rover would be discontinuing its Defender. So in order to pay tribute to Land Rover Defender, Overfinch has unveiled a special variant for this iconic car. This also marks the 40th anniversary of Overfinch's association with Land Rover as they have been modifying Land Rovers for 40 years. To make it more desirable, the automaker would be producing just five of them with specially numbered plaque on each unit. Further, this iconic Defender would be sold for £70,000 (RM446,250). According to Overfinch's chairman Kevin Sloane, it is one of the most beautiful Land Rover they have ever customized. Further, he is confident that they would be able to sell all the five units, no matter the price.

The front fascia of Land Rover Defender is enhanced by gloss black bonnet along with 'Overfinch' nameplate embossed on it. Further one can find a silver grille as well as customized headlights and LED DRLs. The side profile of this car is designed with black satin-finished diamond-plated side sills and door grab handles engraved with 'Overfinch'. Its rear end gets LED taillights, gloss black bumper with electric towing bar, painted mirror and fuel cap made from machined aluminium. Further, this car rides on 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels.

Inside, the Land Rover Defender gets Recaro bucket seats wrapped in two-tone leather along with a folding option for the rear ones. Further, the box lid, dashboard and handles are designed with Wier leather and Cirrus leather inputs. Moreover, the gear knob, handbrake, range selector and steering wheel are all wrapped in leather. Additional features include aluminium pedals, reversing camera, DAB radio, Alpine infotainment system with navigation and sporty instrument cluster.
