- Built-in recording: The owners of the Leapmotor C10 EV do not need third-party dashcams, as the built-in 360° camera can now record the vehicle’s surroundings while on the road. It has modes for authorising continuous video loops and activating emergency recordings. - Simplified ADAS access: The upgrade offers ADAS (ACC, LCC, fatigue monitoring) control on steering wheel buttons, making driving safer and less distracting.
- Phone mirroring: The update includes QDLink functionality for seamless app mirroring (streaming, navigation, music) on the infotainment unit. It is available via a conventional wireless connection or through a data cable.
- Improved slope detection: The OS update has also refined the slope detection feature that automatically activates the front camera on inclines or declines to give drivers a clearer, blind-spot-free view.
As a quick recap, Stellantis officially introduced the Leapmotor brand in Malaysia with the launch of the C10 in October last year. The C10 is a D-segment SUV featuring a future-forward design, spacious cabin, Maserati-tuned driving dynamics, luxurious driving experience, and advanced safety systems.
Priced at RM 125,000, the EV comes with a 6-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, and an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty, whichever comes first.
