Malaysia-bound Jetour T1 and Jetour T2 grab 5-star ASEAN NCAP rating

KUALA LUMPUR: Backed by Chery, Jetour is set to expand its lineup in Malaysia in 2026 with the launch of two new models - Jetour T1 and Jetour T2. These upcoming rugged SUVs have recently proven their safety credentials by achieving 5-star ratings in ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries) crash tests. 

Jetour T1 and Jetour T2: Safety rating 

Both Jetour T1 and Jetour T2 were assessed at the end of 2025 and delivered strong performance in the ASEAN NCAP assessment under the 2021–2025 protocol. The T1 grabbed a total score of 87.67 points, while the T2 received 86.50 points. The category-wise points are as follows -
