Malaysia witnesses arrival of Mazda CX-30 crossover

KUALA LUMPUR: Mazda CX-30 crossover has recently hit the Malaysian market. The all-new sporty crossover offered by Mazda Malaysia is available for sale to the customers in the showrooms and resembles its styling, similar to its sibling CX-3. The CX-30 is an award-winning vehicle under the category of competitive SUV/Crossover from Germany’s most famous Sunday newspaper.

From the exterior, the CX-30 is known to share its stance with its sibling CX-3 but is slightly larger. This five-seater car sports 16-inch aluminium alloy wheels and LED headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights.

Inside the hood, the car carries a 186-hp, 2.5L DOHC 16-valve engine. The four-cylinder engine comes mated with SKYACTIV-Drive4 six-speed automatic transmission and variable valve timing. The vehicle offers front-wheel drive and also features another variant with optional all-wheel drive. CX-30 features a Sport mode for increased performance on the roads.

From the interior of the car, this premium crossover sports an 8.8-inch large centre display accompanied by MAZDA CONNECT Infotainment System. For the ease of operations, while driving, the vehicle also features infotainment system voice command and multifunction commander control.

As per the safety features in the car, Anti-lock Brake System with Electronic Brake Force Distribution & Brake Assist. Moreover, with its Dynamic Stability Control with Traction Control System, the CX-30 ensures smooth and efficient handling in rough and wet road conditions.

For the safety of the child passengers, the vehicle offers LATCH child safety seat anchors & upper tethers alongside child-safety rear door locks. The carmaker aims to provide uncompromised safety to its customers.

CX-30 was created, keeping in view of the millennial singles and young families. Mazda tends to provide affordable driving, and with its latest offering, it can be concluded that the CX-30 provides a premium and sporty look from a pocket-friendly price point of view.
