Participate in Facebook Live Contest during Proton X70 official launch today

KUALA LUMPUR: We wouldn’t be surprised if Proton X70 would be one of the most searched vehicles in the country recently. After revealing the X70 for the first time in Sept 2018, Proton showcased its first SUV at the recently concluded Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS).

It was there when Proton also announced the launch date of the X70 in Malaysia- 12th Dec 2018, that’s today. We are pretty excited and looking forward to it. And to make things even more interesting, there will be a Facebook live contest happening with the launch simultaneously.

Timings

The Facebook live contest is organised by PROTON Edar Sdn Bhd of Centre of Excellence Complex, located at KM33.8 Westbound Shah Alam Expressway, 47600 Subang Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia. The contest will be open from 8 to 10 pm today during the live broadcast of Proton X70 official launch on the company’s Facebook page (@ProtonCarsOfficial).

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria of this contest demands that the participant should be a Malaysian residents aged 18 years and above only, and all organiser’s employees, all official partners involved in the contest, their advertising agencies, public relation agencies, appointed dealers, representatives, and their immediate family members shall not be entitled to participate in the contest.

Rules

The participants need to watch the Facebook Live of the Proton X70 official launch and answer three questions which will be asked in the comment section and at the footer in the broadcast. The viewer that answered the questions with the correct answer will be selected randomly as a winner. There are many prizes that will be awarded. Participants may submit more than one entry but will be entitled to win only one prize.

Keep in mind that the organiser will go through entries by participants to validate compliance of the contest rules and strongly prohibits any comments that are obscene, lewd, and offensive to any religion, offensive to any culture or political in nature. Comments must not refer to any organisation and third-parties, without prior written approval from the said organisation or third-party.

Prizes

30 random participants who answered all three questions correctly will stand a chance to win AEON shopping voucher worth RM 200 each. And 30 random participants who answered only the first question correctly will stand a chance to win Kenny Rogers Roasters meal voucher worth RM 40 each.

Moving on, 40 random participants who answered the second question correctly will stand a chance to win Kenny Rogers Roasters meal voucher worth RM 60 each. And 50 random participants who answered the third question correctly will stand a chance to win Kenny Rogers Roasters meal voucher worth RM 80 each.

The Facebook Live contest is an interesting way of engaging with the masses. It will make people aware of Proton’s new launch and would be a good marketing strategy as well. The winners of the contest will be contacted by the organiser via Facebook for giving away the prizes.
