Proton celebrated Chinese New Year across 74 3S/4S dealerships

KUALA LUMPUR: Proton Malaysia, one of the leading automakers in the country, is known to make things more interesting and fun-filled for the customers and prospective buyers. At the dawn of the Chinese New Year 2019, the company hosted an open house celebration across the country at its 4S/3S centres.

The celebration was held on Saturday, before the Chinese New Year week and many units of the Proton X70 were also delivered to the buyers. This made sure that all the SUV buyers got their deliveries before the CNY holiday. The company also mentioned that this CNY open house gave it a chance to deliver more than 1,000 units of the car in one day.

There was also an all-important presentation given by the manager of each 3S/4S outlet. This was done to make sure that none of the buyers of the new SUV missed out on the advanced features on offer.

Besides this, the visitors and customers also enjoyed lion dance performances and tossing of Yee Sang dish. The new Proton X70 is a new car on the block and is powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged T-GDI engine that makes 184 PS of power at 5,500 rpm and 285 Nm of peak torque, which comes anywhere between 1,700 rpm and 4,400 rpm. It runs on 17-inch wheels with 225 profile tyres.
