Proton e.MAS 7 EV highlights Hari Raya spirit with underprivileged children

KUALA LUMPUR: PRO-NET, Proton’s subsidiary dedicated to new energy vehicles, recently organised "Syawal Ikonik with Proton e.MAS 7," a festive event highlighting the spirit of giving and community.

The activity featured Proton's first EV, the e.MAS 7, taking center stage in an event designed to share the joy of Hari Raya with underprivileged children.

The initiative saw 40 children from Madrasatul Quran Yaakubiyah in USJ 1 embark on a memorable journey in a fleet of ten Proton e.MAS 7 EVs. Supported by PRO-NET dealers, the convoy drove the children to Jakel Mall in Shah Alam, where they had an exciting experience selecting their new Hari Raya outfits.

Each child was gifted a full festive attire including a Baju Raya set, sampin, and songkok, making their upcoming Aidilfitri celebration extra special.

After shopping, the group proceeded to PROTON’s Centre Of Excellence (COE), where the children spent quality time interacting with company executives and dealer representatives.

The event culminated in a warm buka puasa session, bringing everyone closer in the festive spirit.

To top off the meaningful day, each child also received Duit Raya, a traditional gesture highlighting PRO-NET’s heartfelt generosity.
