Three variants, priced up to RM226,800

The Zeekr 7X arrives as a premium all-electric SUV and is available in three variants: RWD Standard (RM179,800), RWD Long Range (RM190,800), and the flagship AWD Performance (RM226,800). Each version targets a different driving lifestyle, with varying battery packs and performance outputs.

The RWD Standard runs on a 75kWh Golden Brick Battery, delivering up to 480km range (WLTP) with 310kW and 440Nm sent to the rear wheels.

The RWD Long Range pushes that to 615km thanks to a larger 100kWh Qilin Battery. Topping the range, the AWD Performance packs a dual-motor setup with 475kW and 710Nm, capable of 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

It also gets Akebono brakes, Magic Carpet air suspension and CCD damping for added precision and comfort.

All models feature an 800V architecture that supports ultra-fast charging at up to 450kW.

Designed in Sweden, styled for attention

The 7X was penned in Gothenburg by design chief Stefan Sielaff. Its styling is based on Zeekr’s “Hidden Energy” philosophy, combining aerodynamics with striking details such as frameless doors, a floating roofline, and a massive 93-inch Integrated Smart Light Curtain across the front. This light strip, made up of 1,831 LEDs, can be customised with multiple designs and animations.

Inside, a ripple-effect ambient lighting system stretches across 4,673mm of cabin length with 256 RGB colours and 11 light zones. The panoramic sunroof is the largest in class at 1.84m², paired with an electric UV-protected sunshade. Nappa leather seats (AWD Performance), powered adjustments, rear electric sunshades, and massaging/ventilated functions highlight the comfort-focused cabin.

    Tech-heavy interior

Powering the intelligent cockpit is Qualcomm’s 8295 chip. The driver gets a 36-inch AR-HUD, while the centre hosts a 16-inch 3.5K mini-LED display. Audio is handled by the 2160W ZEEKR Sound Pro system with 21 speakers.

Rear passengers aren’t forgotten either – reclinable back seats, dual 50W wireless chargers, and 36 storage spaces add to practicality.

    Safety

Zeekr claims the 7X is built to exceed global safety benchmarks. Its body integrates 12-metre ultra-high-strength steel, a die-cast aluminium rear structure, and a reinforced dome-shaped chassis with 35% higher torsional rigidity. The SUV also carries a 5-star Euro NCAP rating.

Battery protection is provided by Zeekr’s Non-Thermal Propagation (NTP) tech and a 10-grid shield to mitigate side impacts. Active systems include seven airbags, 360-degree cameras, Driver Monitoring System (DMS), and Occupant Monitoring System (OMS) to detect children or passengers left in the cabin.

Driver assistance comes via L2.5 ADAS features, including automatic lane change with signal input, adaptive cruise control, lane centring, AEB with forward collision mitigation, blind spot detection, and automated parking assist. The 7X is also the first EV worldwide with dual electromagnetic (EM) safety certification, addressing concerns around EM radiation.
