Jetour has already made a splash in the Malaysian automotive arena with the launch of Dashing and VT9 SUVs last year. It sold a total of 2,741 vehicles in 2025, backed by a network of 31 dealerships across 13 key states and regions across the country. As for 2026, the brand is geared for new launches across the SUV spectrum and network and infrastructure expansion to establish its long-term presence.

Coming back to the newly launched T2, this adventure-ready SUV has already made a mark on Malaysians by grabbing 368 bookings within the first 24 hours, indicating that buyers are becoming more open to new SUV nameplates that bring strong design, lots of equipment and aggressive value to the table.

Let’s dive deeper and get to know the Jetour T2 in detail, starting with the price.

    Jetour T2: Price

The Jetour T2 is offered in a single well-equipped variant in Malaysia, priced at RM 156,800 (excluding registration fee, road tax, and insurance), which is much lower than the earlier estimated price of RM 178,888

At this price point, the SUV is much more attractive than the GWM Tank 300, which can be seen as a stylistic rival on paper. Both feature boxy styling, off-road design cues and a 2.0-litre turbo engine, but the latter is positioned as a hardcore off-road SUV and carries a much higher price tag of around RM 250k.

    Jetour T2: Dimensions

Built for off-road adventures, the C-segment SUV measures 4,785 mm in length, 2,006 mm in width, and 1,875 mm in height, and spans a 2,800 mm wheelbase. With a minimum ground clearance of 220 mm, the vehicle has a water wading depth of 700 mm.

As for luggage, there is a spacious boot area measuring 580 litres, which can be expanded up to 1,494 litres with the rear seats folded.

    Jetour T2: Exterior design

Reminiscent of the iconic Land Rover SUV, the Jetour T2 boasts a boxy and upright silhouette with sharp angles and strong character lines, accentuating its rugged beauty. The front looks quite aggressive with a wide horizontal grille incorporating bold “JETOUR” wordmark, vertically stacked automatic LED headlights (with daytime running lights and follow-me home function), and chunky bumper cladding. The equally striking rear design exudes a macho vibe with a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, robust bumper elements, and vertical LED tail lights.

Adding to its off-road-ready stance are squared-off wheel arches, underbody skid plates, and a contrasting roof. The SUV is fitted with 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 255/60 R19 tyres.

Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) with paddle shifters, enabling the SUV to balance performance and efficiency.
