BMW Malaysia announces SST-exempted price for M3, M4, & 430i

KUALA LUMPUR: It is a known fact that the Malaysian government has extended SST exemption until the end of the year. Following which BMW Malaysia recently announced revised pricing (SST-exempted) for a few of its models, including the M3 Competition Coupe, M4 Competition Coupe, and 430i M Sport Coupe. Previously the automaker announced full prices of these models because of product availability issues.

Note, that since these three BMW models are fully imported only 50 percent SST exemption will come into effect. Coming to the price point here are the full details -

M3 Competition Coupe	RM 639,664 (less by RM 25k)
M4 Competition Coupe	RM 659,357 (less by RM 25k)
430i M Sport Coupe.	RM 390,033 (less by RM 16k)

 

The prices mentioned above are all on-the-road without insurance. It however includes the basic two-year factory warranty. Customers can also opt for optional five-year unlimited-mileage warranty and free-service package at an additional cost of RM 665,904 for the M3, RM 685,597 for M4, and RM 403,153 for 430i.

Any other revisions? No, except the price nothing else has changed, everything in the specs sheet remains the same. The M3 and M4 Competition models continue to source power from a 3.0-litre inline-six turbocharged mill that pumps out a maximum power of 510 hp along with a peak torque of 650 Nm. The power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The BMW 430i M Sport Coupe, on the other day, gets a 258hp/400 Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged mill. The engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels.
