Proton ties up with Continental to offer tyre replacement; targeting 60 outlets by Dec 2025

KUALA LUMPUR: Proton has joined forces with Continental Malaysia to launch integrated tyre services at its authorised service centres. Under this strategic collaboration, Proton service centres will be providing tyre sales, expert installation, and after-sales support to customers.

By the end of this year, the automaker’s 60 outlets will operate as comprehensive centres offering this new service to owners of all its models, in partnership with Continental Malaysia. It marks a significant milestone in the brand’s commitment to continuously improving customer convenience and offering a seamless ownership experience throughout its network.

The key highlights of the Proton-Continental deal are as follows -
Tyre purchase during routine service: This new offering allows Proton customers to purchase newly produced tyres and get them installed during their routine service appointments. Prices are also competitive, with one tyre for the Proton Saga costing RM 211.
Professional installation by certified technicians: Notably, the tyres will be installed by certified Proton technicians, ensuring high-quality service and assurance.
Continental Malaysia’s Total Confidence Plan: The deal also brings Continental Malaysia’s Total Confidence Plan to the table for Proton owners. This offers a 1-year road hazard warranty with one-to-one tyre replacement in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Flexible Financing Through Direct Lending: Direct Lending financing is also available for those seeking greater flexibility in tyre payments, allowing them to pay through affordable monthly instalments.
