Suzuki Jimny accessory packages launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Naza Eastern Motors treated Malaysia off-road enthusiasts with the all-new fourth-generation Jimny last year. In its latest form, the 4x4 off-roader promises a more rugged and adventurous performance without compromising on comfort. Well, the Suzuki SUV is now available with a host of next-level accessory packages to choose from.

Offering the Malaysia-spec Jimny a more spice-up look are the following three packages -

Urban Package: Priced at RM 5,820, this package comprises a front bumper garnish, a new grille cover, a side under garnish, and rain visors. The additional package installation charges are RM 180.

Professional Package: This package will cost you RM 1,500 for replacing the black side mirror caps and body-coloured door handles with chrome-finished ones. The additional installation charges for this pack are RM 117.

Protection Package: By opting for this package, you can add a layer of protection to your Jimny, which includes mud flaps (front and rear) and a differential guard (front and rear). It is priced at RM 4,000 with an additional installation cost of RM 117.

That’s all about the Jimny’s official accessories. The rest of the exterior kit remains the same with the LED project headlamps, drip rails, front fog lamps, 15-inch alloy rims, 195/80 tyres, laminated front windscreen, and a spare tyre. The interior comes fitted with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with advanced connectivity options, leather-wrapped tilt steering wheel, single-zone automatic air conditioning, instrument panel with analog tachometer and speedometer, front power windows, sun visors, reading lights, and more.

Powering the Jimny is a 1.5-litre VVT four-cylinder gasoline mill that pumps out a maximum power of 100 hp at 6,000 rpm. along with a maximum torque of 130 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a four-speed automatic gearbox.  

Without the accessories packages, the Suzuki Jimny retails at RM 174,900 (on-the-road without insurance) in Malaysia. The available colour choices are Kinetic Yellow + Bluish Black Pearl 3, Jungle Green, Bluish Black Pearl 3, and Medium Grey.
