Zeekr Malaysia hosts track-focussed driving event for EV owners

KUALA LUMPUR: Zeekr Malaysia has recently hosted its first-ever Zeekr Dynamic event at Sepang International Circuit (SIC). This full-day event attracted around 500 Zeekr owners and their families from Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore, reflecting the growing regional enthusiasm for premium electric mobility. 

“As one of Zeekr’s most important markets in Southeast Asia, it is fitting that Malaysia hosts the very first chapter of Zeekr Dynamic for our growing Zeekr family in the region. This event was created exclusively to allow our customers to experience our vehicles in a real track setting, where they can fully appreciate the performance, precision and control that define the Zeekr driving experience,” said Eddy Lu, General Manager of Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia. 

Zeekr Dynamic Track Day: Key highlights 

Centred around the Zeekr 7X and Zeekr X, the event offers participants an opportunity to explore the performance, safety systems, and driving dynamics of these EVs in a controlled track environment through structured driving sessions. 

Guide track activities 

• Obstacle Avoidance: It showcased the effectiveness of electronic stability systems
• Slalom Course: This activity highlighted steering precision, agility, and chassis balance through dynamic cone navigation. 
• Emergency Braking: It demonstrated braking performance and stability under high-intensity deceleration.

• Lane Change Manoeuvre: This highlighted the functionality of ADAS systems, including Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Departure Warning. 
• Track Convoy: This allowed participants to experience acceleration and braking transitions in a high-speed yet controlled environment.

Family-friendly activities 

Apart from track activities, the company also organised activities for EV owners and their families. These include -

• Zeekr Track Challenge Passport, where participants had to collect stamps and redeem rewards
• Interactive challenge zones, including reaction-based and precision-driving themed games. 
• Racing simulator experience, offering a virtual drive around the Sepang Circuit 
• Dedicated family and kids’ zones

Visitors also enjoyed food trucks and hospitality areas during their visit. 

Community building

Zeekr Dynamic event also highlighted the growing Zeekr community in the Southeast Asia region. Through initiatives, the company continues to expand to strengthen customer engagement beyond traditional ownership, combining performance, technology, lifestyle, and community.
