2021 Toyota Innova: Which variant to buy?
Toyota Innova is a popular road trip-ready multi-purpose vehicle all around the world, including Malaysia, where it just received an update. Yes, the new Innova facelift is now official and comes at a starting price of RM 111,622. It gets a number of new features and new styling enhancements that should help Toyota to lure in more customers and garner higher sales.
In terms of exterior design, the new Innova features a sportier bumper, trapezoid-shaped grille, and redesigned headlights at the front. However, the rear end gets a black tailgate garnish between the L-shaped tail lights.

This is the most affordable 2021 Toyota Innova which retails for RM 111,622. At this price, you will get the following features-

As for the engine, the MPV boasts a 2.0-litre inline four-cylinder petrol mill producing 139 PS of maximum power at 5,600 rpm and 183 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. The available drive modes are Normal, Eco and Power. Talking about the standard safety features, the MPV gets seven airbags (driver, front passenger, side, curtain, and driver’s knee), ABS with EBD and brake assist, vehicle stability control with traction control, hill-start assist control, emergency stop signal, and front/rear parking sensors.
Toyota Innova 2.0G
Moving on, the G variant sits at number two in the Innova's lineup and gets some add-on features along with the above-mentioned ones. And thus, it is a bit more expensive than the base E. The added features are:

- Chrome finishing on wing mirrors and door handles
- Optitron meter panel with a 4.2-inch TFT multi-info display

At the top of the range sits the Innova 2.0 X, which is priced at RM 129,677. It is quite expensive than the previous trim and to justify the price difference, it is loaded with a handful of interesting features. They are:
