So what features make these SUVs safe? Speaking about the 2022 Honda HR-V first, the car comes equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD and BA, stability control, agile handling assist, hill start assist, hill descent control, emergency stop signal, parking sensors, reverse camera, Honda LaneWatch and Honda Sensing driver assists (including adaptive cruise control with stop and go, autonomous emergency braking, lane centring assist, automatic high beam and lane keeping assist).
The 2022 Honda BR-V safety pack also comprises six airbags, ABS with EBD and BA, hill start assist, Honda’s LaneWatch blind spot mitigating cameras and Honda Sensing with systems like collision mitigation braking system, lane keeping assist, road departure mitigation lane departure warning, auto high-beam, adaptive cruise control and lead car departure notification system.
The new HR-V is on offer in four variants in the country with a price ranging from RM 114,800 to RM 140,800, while, as mentioned above, the latest-gen BR-V is yet to hit the local roads.
