New Proton 3S dealer outlet opened in Seremban, Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Proton has officially launched its latest 3S dealer outlet in Seremban. The outlet is owned by Setia Auto Drive Sdn Bhd (Setia Auto Drive) and features the company’s new Corporate Identity (CI) colors. Proton’s CEO Dr Li Chunrong and Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Aminuddin Harun jointly officiated the launch ceremony. The event was also attended by senior managers of Proton and Directors of Setia Auto Drive.

Seremban is the capital of Negeri Sembilan, located in the southern region of the nation. Launching a 3S outlet is a move to enhance after-sales services for customers in the region. The outlet was raised with an investment of nearly RM 3 million, which also includes the cost of building renovation. It is located in the Galla Industrial Park, a well-known locale along the belt of other car makers. The outlet is furnished with all sorts of amenities like laptop charging area, free Wi-Fi, and a customer lounge. To deliver better service, they have employed 6 bays, 6 service hoists, 9 dedicated sales staff, and 8 service staff.

Proton stands next to Perodua in the car sales ranking. A few days ago Proton also signed a deal with China Construction Bank (CCB) for availing a loan of RM 1.88 billion, in a bid to expand its regional and international base. The company now has a total of 79 outlets across Malaysia with 3S/4S status, making it to reign the top spot with the largest number of outlets of this kind.

Dr Li said, “At PROTON, customers remain our main priority. We want them to walk into any PROTON outlet, and they could enjoy a substantial level of customer satisfaction. With 79 outlets operating as 3S/4S nationwide, we would be able to serve all our customers’ need extensively all under one roof.”

Moreover, the company is also vouchsafing promotions for this month. This includes savings up to RM 4000 on the Ertiga and Iriz, RM 3800 on Saga and a range of deals for selected models.
