The Nissan Almera is offered with petrol engine options across three different variants namely -

• Almera 1.5L E M/T
• Almera 1.5L E A/T
• Almera 1.5L VL A/T

All the three variants are powered by four-cylinder DOHC 1498 cc petrol engine with CVTC and Drive-by-Wire technology. Transmission modes on offer include 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic. All of the Almera trims get a fuel injection system and produce the same amount of power and torque, 102 PS of max power at 6,000 rpm and 139 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm.

Nissan Almera color options include Brilliant White, Bronze Gold, Graphite Blue, Tungsten Silver, and Diamond Black.

Almera 1.5L E M/T

This is the base variant with a kerb weight of 1020 kg. It comes with halogen headlamps, manual headlamp leveller, LED daytime running lights, electronically adjustable side mirrors, and wing mirror with signal lamps.

Talking about the interiors, the Almera specs for 1.5L E M/T trim includes fabric-wrapped black seats, black-finished dash, 2-DIN audio system with four speakers, AUX and USB support, manual air conditioning system, and Urethane steering wheel. The entry into the car is via remote control keyless entry system.

On the safety front, this Almera variant gets a driver only SRS airbag, ISOFIX child seat fitment, ABS with EBD, brake assist system, child protector safety lock, reverse sensors, alarm system, and engine immobiliser.

Almera 1.5L E A/T

Next up is the 1.5L E A/T variant which is exactly like the base variant apart from the fact that it is an automatic version. Hence, it comes with a 4-speed conventional automatic transmission system. The kerb weight has been increased by a few ticks, as this version weighs 1,035 kg.

Almera 1.5L VL A/T

This is the top of the line model which in addition to all the features mentioned above gets fog lamps, automatic air conditioning system, fine vision meter, controls-mounted Urethane steering wheel, push start ignition button, and i-key entry.

In the safety department, what’s included other than the ones offered with the Almera 1.5L E A/T is the passenger side SRS airbag. This Almera variant has a kerb weight of 1,045 kg.

Standard across the range

The suspension setup remains same across the Almera range that includes MacPherson strut at front and Torsion Beam unit at the back. Additionally, the alloy wheel size is same across all the variants - 15 inches that are wrapped with 185/65 R15 section rubber. For braking, all of the three variants are blessed with ventilated disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear end.

Optional upgrade

Other than these, there are optional upgrade packages that buyers can opt for, including Elegance package, which comes with sports pedals, LED kick plates, trunk tray, and door visors. Further, there are NISMO performance package, NISMO aero package, NISMO aero kit, navigation support with DVD player package, and navigation with Internet package. Buyers can also choose leather upholstery as an optional upgrade to enhance interior aesthetics.
