Under the skin is a front-mounted electric motor producing 204 PS (150 kW) and 310 Nm of torque. The e:N1 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds, with a top speed of 160 km/h. A 68.8 kWh NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) battery provides up to 500 km (NEDC)-rated range, positioning it well among similarly priced electric SUVs in Malaysia.

Charging-wise, the e:N1 supports up to 78 kW DC fast charging, taking around 45 minutes to go from 10% to 80%. It also handles 11 kW AC charging, which allows for a full charge in about six hours with a compatible wallbox.
While it shares the basic silhouette of the HR-V, the e:N1 sports a grille-less front end with a hidden charging port, along with a monochrome Honda emblem and new Honda script branding at the rear. It rides on 18-inch two-tone multi-spoke alloy wheels, paired with full-LED lighting as standard.

Inside, the e:N1 takes a major step up in digital interfaces. The centre console is dominated by a 15.1-inch portrait touchscreen, which also houses the climate controls. Ahead of the driver is a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and gear selection is handled by a push-button selector rather than a traditional lever.

On the safety front, the e:N1 is equipped with the full Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance features, including:
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
- Road Departure Mitigation (RDM)
- Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
- Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
- Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
- Auto High Beam (AHB)

Adding further appeal is the fact that the e:N1 is the first Honda in Malaysia to feature Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, finally replacing the LaneWatch side camera that has divided opinion among local buyers.
With its official arrival, Honda Malaysia has entered the electric SUV segment with a compelling new option that blends the familiarity of the HR-V with dedicated EV performance and forward-thinking features.

Although the size is not the same, the RM150k price tag puts it in direct competition with the likes of the Zeekr X and smart’s EVs.
Deliveries for the Honda e:N1 in Malaysia are expected to begin in June of 2025.
