Perodua bestowed the Selangor police force with three Bezza sedans

KUALA LUMPUR: Perodua has donated three units of its Bezza sedan to the Selangor Police Contingent (IPK Selangor). These models feature equipment like radios and beacon lamps and will be used for patrolling. Also, will serve duties at JPJKK Bukit Aman and IPD Hulu Selangor.

Malaysia's largest car manufacturer, Perodua, organised a handover ceremony at the Selangor Police Headquarters in Shah Alam a few days back. In this event, the Selangor Police Chief Commissioner Dato’ Noor Azam Jamaludin received the keys of the cars from Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad, CEO and president of Perodua.

Addressing the dedication of the Royal Malaysian Police, Dato’ Zainal said, “For the 26 years Perodua has made Selangor our home, we have been able to operate effectively and without distress due to the commendable efforts by the Royal Malaysian Police, particularly IPK Selangor, to maintain public safety, peace and harmony.”

The Bezza is Perodua’s first-ever sedan, and the company had unveiled it with updated looks back in 2017. Moreover, the car also secured the Frost & Sullivan Malaysia 2017 Car of the Year award along with Debut Car of the Year award, because of its sales volume, sales growth, and market share in its segment and overall contribution to the total industry volume.

Dato’ Zainal also said “The Perodua Bezza makes an ideal patrol car as it is dependable, durable, easy to drive and cost-efficient in terms of service as well as fuel economy. Its compactness makes it easy to manoeuvre around tight spaces, and despite its compact size, it is commodious and comfortable inside.” The trio will soon be whizzing on the public roads of the region.
