Perodua reduces service maintenance costs by 10% for all models
KUALA LUMPUR: After reducing the price of the QV-E electric SUV, Perodua has announced another pricing revision. This time, the automaker has reduced the prices of service maintenance parts and labour charges by 10% (terms and conditions apply), effective from June 19. This move is aimed at helping Malaysians cope with the rising cost of living while making vehicle ownership more affordable.

“We welcome our customers to our authorised service centres to find out more on the deal and to use genuine parts so that your Perodua vehicle will continue to remain reliable and efficient when you need it most,” Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad, said.
“We believe that the reduction in service cost will assist our customers in reducing their mobility cost, and we at Perodua will do our part to give greater value to our customers,” he added.
Applies to all Perodua models, including the QV-E EV
The campaign applies to the brand’s entire lineup, including the QV-E, ranging from inspection, parts replacement, and labour costs relating to vehicle maintenance.
As mentioned above, Perodua recently slashed the QV-E’s price from RM 80,000 to RM 69,999 under its Battery as a Service (BAAS) programme, which comes with a monthly subscription fee of RM 215 for nine years. Those who do not want the battery subscription package can take the EV home by paying an outright amount of RM 93,999.

The automaker has also announced a special limited-time discount on the purchase of the EV, valid till 30 September 2026, which brings down the outright purchase price to RM 87,499, while the BAAS model is priced at RM 63,499.
Over 5 million vehicles to benefit from this initiative
According to the automaker’s internal data, there are more than 5 million Perodua vehicles on the road. In 2025 alone, a total of 3.7 million vehicles were serviced at authorised Perodua service centres nationwide. Through this campaign, Produa aims to better serve a large segment of Malaysians,” said Dato’ Sri Zainal.
“We have improved efficiency while at the same time eliminating any wastages in our operations. The benefits of these activities are passed to our valued customers,” Dato’ Sri Zainal said.
