UMW Toyota delivers 4,856 units in Feb 2026, expands hybrid lineup and network

KUALA LUMPUR: UMW Toyota sold a total of 4,856 units in February 2026, bringing the year-to-date total to 9,556 units. This steady performance reaffirms the Japanese automaker’s strong market presence and customer trust, supported by a refreshed product line-up and a strong nationwide network.

UMW Toyota expands hybrid vehicle portfolio

At the heart of this early-year momentum is the expansion of hybrid electric vehicle range across key segments. These include - 

• Vios Hybrid and Vios HEV GR Sport in the B-segment sedan category, which is one of the most widely accessible categories in the market 
• Corolla Cross HEV GR Sport in the C-segment SUV category 
• Vellfire HEV brings hybrid refinement into the luxury MPV category
• Harrier HEV in the D-segment SUV category

UMW Toyota opens Prima Pearl 4S Centre 

The company also opened the doors of a new Prima Pearl 4S Centre in Bayan Lepas, Penang, on 9 February 2026, offering Sales, Service and Body & Paint facilities under one roof. The outlet features a spacious display area for four vehicles, two delivery bays, 10 general service bays and 10 Body & Paint bays, strengthening the brand’s service capacity in the northern region. 

UMW Toyota ownership support programmes

UMW Toyota continues to provide structured ownership support to customers with its ongoing initiatives, like -

• Toyota Service Savers programme, offering routine maintenance from RM31 per month
• Toyota Extend, which provides extended warranty coverage for selected models nationwide

The company has also announced its March 2026 promo, which offers financing packages across selected Toyota models, with deals valued at up to RM 7,500 and monthly instalments starting from RM 658. These packages offer buyers more accessible options to buy a brand-new Toyota ahead of the festive season.
